FREE FIRE FOR FUTURE (FFFF) is the activist which is formed with the purpose of interrupting the process of illegal land ownership transformation by discouraging the motivation of burning activity. We (the forest) suffer a lot from forest fires during the fire season every year. Even though there are attempts to control the fires, they are not enough and the fires still come back and destroy the forest. The persistence of law violation including the illegal use of fires, no response to the fires, and illegal land change are destroying the forest and affect human negatively as well.

 

If the intervention within the process is successful, the concession cannot be spread. Then, the corporations will be afraid of fires set outside the concession because fires will come to burn their productive land. Human will not have an intention to burn because they receive a disadvantage; while, they will have the motivation to protect the forest by guarding against fires.

We pledge for the government and more powerful corporations not to destroy the forest by burning anymore.
