Indonesia have faced forest fires every year causing many issues to both human and nature. The attempts to prevent the fires have proved to be unsuccessful.
The root causes of fires start from the problem of land rights when the government grab the land from communities and grant to corporations. Burning activity become a conversion of land use. We (the land) are intentionally burnt to expand the concession.
We pledge human to protect the forest against fires by demanding the authorities to transform the land law. This will not only help the citizens who face the injustice, but also help nature from the destruction.

1. Stop illegal land ownership transformation
2. Stop using burning activity to clear the land
3. Strengthen the land legislation
4. Give the land back to the community
PALM OIL AND TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK
Tanjung Puting National park is a national park in Indonesia located in Southeast part of West Kotawaringin Agency in Central Kalimantan. The park is famous for its Orangutan conservation, and ecotourism.
However, there are many conflicts around the park such as fires, which are not supposed to occur in the protected area. Even the policy managed by national government is also disrupted by local government corruptions. Palm oil plantation also expand along the border of the park.
